Questions we hear

The things
moms ask us first.

Q — 01

Do I need a membership to visit?

Not at all. Membership unlocks the best pricing and unlimited childcare, but drop-ins and single-visit bookings are always welcome.

Q — 02

Is childcare really included every time?

Yes for every visit, every service, membership or drop-in. It's one of the promises we won't compromise on.

Q — 03

Does insurance cover the mental health sessions?

Our in-house therapist accepts most major insurance plans, with cash-pay and package pricing for anything not covered. Call us to book your session.

Q — 04

How do I book a massage or meal?

Call ahead. We officially open our doors on Aug 1, but join our waitlist by clicking "Journal" above.

Q — 05

Can I bring my baby to classes?

Absolutely. Most classes are baby-in-arms friendly, and respite care is right next door if you'd rather have both hands free.

Q — 06

Is The Retreat a hospital?

No, The Retreat is a boutique postpartum recovery home, not a hospital. We collaborate closely with your OB/GYN, pediatrician, and IBCLC, and our on-site team includes licensed doulas, a perinatal mental health therapist, a postpartum massage therapist, and an attending physician who provides medical oversight for our lifestyle guests.

Q — 07

Do you support all feeding methods?

We support families regardless of how they choose or need to feed their babies, and we help you every step of the way

Q — 08

Do you offer lactation support?

Yes. Our team provides lactation support and our IBCLC/pediatrician provides house-calls during your stay.
