Newborns can be noisy, unpredictable and surprisingly mysterious. They spit up, develop unfamiliar rashes, change their feeding patterns and sometimes do things that leave even prepared parents wondering what is normal.
In this practical and reassuring class, board-certified pediatrician Dr. Sharifa Glass will help parents understand what to expect during the newborn stage. She will discuss common concerns such as spitting up, rashes, fever, feeding changes and other behaviors parents frequently notice during their baby’s first weeks. You will learn what is typically normal, what you can manage at home and when it is time to contact your pediatrician.
Dr. Glass is a mother of two, the owner of The Vine Pediatrics and Lactation, and the pediatrician for The Retreat at MILK Maternity. Her approachable, evidence-based guidance will help you feel more informed and confident as you care for your newborn.
